Our mission centers on harnessing the power of the arts to foster reading and writing skills development in children aged 3 to 14. At Outreach Productions, our primary objective is to create impactful educational programming that amplifies the voices and talents of often-underrepresented artists, including Black people, people of color (POC), and women artists.

2023 Upcoming Projects!
All Aboard Youth is the K-12 component of the Freedom Communities project. Austin Black Freedom Communities is a feature-length documentary about communities built by formerly enslaved African Americans during the reconstruction era. These communities were constructed with little resources from the ground up and included churches, schools, and stores. They were self-sufficient and built vital infrastructures. The All Aboard project will invite youth and adolescents to respond to the film and web-series in their artistic expression of choice. This could include storytelling, writing, poetry, visual art, and dance.

After Joanie presents the story "Too Much Talk", we will end with a fairy craft. Make a craft and have fun!
